Los Cuatro Amigos (LCA) is a scholarship-focused nonprofit supporting graduating seniors from HCISD who plan to pursue careers through Career and Technical Education (CTE). The organization is composed of President Eddie Rodriguez, Vice President Belinda C. Zapata, Secretary Dr. Christian Corrales, and Treasurer Roel Rodriguez.

The Los Fresnos Rodeo returns for its 36th year on February 20-22, 2026, with a kickoff concert starring Braxton Keith on February 19.

For 92 years, nonprofit organization Harlingen Concert Association (HCA) has been committed to recruiting exceptional artists to present high-quality shows. Education and inspiration are at the heart of HCA’s mission. Outreach at local schools are held every season, with scholarships being awarded to high school seniors who want to pursue music at the collegiate level.

The Harlingen Sunburst Rotary's Scholarship Golf Tournament, in its 25th year, awards local, community-minded scholars. The tournament will be held on September 6, 2025.

VAMOS is a local nonprofit that provides financial assistance and mentorship to first-generation college students from low-income backgrounds.
