For more than 20 years, the Harlingen Country Club has hosted the Men's ITF World Tennis Tournament each October. More than 60 U.S. and international tennis players come to Harlingen to compete to qualify for higher-level events.

The 2nd Annual South Texas AuthorCon, highlighting authors from the Rio Grande Valley, will occur on February 14 and 15 in San Benito.
