The Harlingen Sunburst Rotary's Scholarship Golf Tournament, in its 25th year, awards local, community-minded scholars. The tournament will be held on September 6, 2025.

Nearly one year ago, the Cristiano family took ownership of the Treasure Hills Golf Club (THGC) and have made many improvements.

After nearly a year of renovations, the Tony Butler Golf Course in Harlingen is scheduled to reopen on November 23, 2024.
